Create a communications system for the class; we used the Microsoft Network (MSN)
- Have students sign up for MSN accounts
- Learn MSN Hotmail for e-mail exchanges, Chat for live exchanges and public classroom interaction, and Instant Messenger Service for private messages
- Create a “system status” announcement plan so students know what’s working and what isn’t
