This multi-disciplinary database provides full text for nearly 4,500 journals, including full text for more than 3,600 peer-reviewed titles. PDF backfiles to 1975 or further are available for well over one hundred journals, and searchable cited references are provided for 1,000 titles.

Charity Database from the Honolulu Advertiser

Hawai'i charities: How they spend your donations

Over 650 nonprofits that reported their revenues, expenses, assets and, in some cases, executive salaries are included in this searchable database. The information was compiled from the organizations latest tax returns as compiled by GuideStar for The Advertiser. Some charities may not list anyone under the highest-paid employees because they are only required to name those who make more than $50,000 and who are not officers, directors or trustees. The Advertiser also calculated the percentage of the nonprofits expenses that go toward programs to carry out their mission.

 

CQ Researcher

The Hawaii State Archives collects, appraises, preserves, and provides access to records of enduring value of the State and its predecessor governments of the Territory, Republic, Provisional government, and the Hawaiian Kingdom. Hawaiian Historical Society

The Hawaiian Historical Society library provides a research collection of printed and manuscript material for use by scholars, historians, history buffs, serious students, Society members, and others in the community interested in the history of Hawai‘i and the Pacific Island area. The library's strength is on the history of Hawai‘i and the Pacific in the nineteenth century. It has fine collections of early voyages and travels, Hawaiian-language imprints, and newspapers published in Hawai‘i.
