Faculty Computing Requests
This page lists the procedure for requesting the purchase of new equipment and/or software. If you would like to borrow equipment, please visit the Equipment List page.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Neither Linda nor Stacey can authorize the purchase of new equipment so please follow the guidelines below when requesting purchases.
Procedure for Requesting Computing/Equipment Purchases (hardware and software)
- Faculty member makes the request to Division Chair
- If the Division Chair approves the request, it is passed to Linda Maeno, Information Technology Specialist in Academic Computing Support
- Academic Computer Support makes a recommendation to the Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs
- Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs approves or disapproves the request
- If the request is approved, Academic Computing Support will purchase the item
