Equipment Available from UHWO Media Lab

The following items are available for borrow from the UHWO Media Lab

• Compaq Laptop Computer
  • This computer has Windows XP Professional and Office 2003. It also has an internal wireless network card so that the user may connect to a wireless network (this only works if there is an OPEN wireless network available)
  • This computer comes with a AC adapter, bag, remote presenter (for advancing PowerPoint slides) with built-in laser pointer, USB optical mouse and USB 3 1/2" floppy drive
• InFocus LCD Video Projector
  • These LCD video projectors are for use with laptop or desktop computers (keep in mind that you will either need to borrow one of our computers or you will need to provide your own in order to use it)
• 35mm Slide Projector
  • Slide Projector comes with carousel
• Portable Compact Disc and Audiocassette Player
  • Comes with power cable
• Portable Speaker System with Wireless Microphone
  • There are two speakers with the full system, for off-campus requests only one speaker will be provided
  • Comes with wireless microphone (9 volt battery)
  • Inputs for XLR cable and 1/4" stereo plugs
• MiniDV Video Camcorder
  • Comes with AC adapter and one battery (you must provide your own miniDV video tapes)
• 16mm Film Projector
  • Comes with one tape reel
